Chesterton New Build Station

MegaTech Projects Ltd has been awarded the contract to design and construct a full new station being built at Chesterton in Cambridge.

The main contractor working for Network Rail is VolkerFitzpatrick and the designers are Atkins working in conjunction with MPL's designers Adams Consulting.

The works involve a new island platform 252m long by 9m wide and a single platform 252m long by 7m wide.

The works are planned to be completed over weekend Blockade's in early 2016.
