Maturing With Age

In December 2013, the World celebrated the life of Nelson Mandela and MegaTech Projects celebrated the birth of our innovative approved Network Rail EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) platform system.

Following NR’s approval in June 2012, MPL completed our first post approval installation at Peterborough in December 2013 and this was quickly followed up with Grantham and Newark Northgate, all on the East Coast Mainline.

8 Years on, MPL returned to all three stations to see how they were looking and, from the attached photos, you can see that they are wearing well.

The system has, and continues, to develop and since 2013 we now precast in the tactiles along with the copers and pre-form the holding down bolts for lighting columns and CCTV.
