MegaTech Donate Over £100,000 to charity

MegaTech donate over £100,000 to charity for the 4th year running and now over £500,000 in total.

Following what was a tough year, and one which we’re all glad to put behind us, MegaTech Projects Ltd (MPL) are delighted to have been in a position to bring a small bit of positivity in 2020.

2020 came with financial hardship for many. Charities especially have struggled with much needed fundraisers being cancelled due to Covid-19 and donations decreasing due to the financial uncertainty brought to the public by the pandemic.

MPL, a small family business, managed to donate over £100,000 to charity throughout 2020. Whilst this is a huge amount of money to a company the size of ours we understand the value of it to the charities close to our business, namely Calum’s Cabin and Back On Side who have continued their great work through the midst of the pandemic. Back On Side, who aim to promote the importance of sport, music, drama and art to mental health and wellbeing have done an incredible job in a year which has seen a sharp rise in those struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. Calum’s Cabin have also continued through the pandemic providing accommodation and respite for families with children undergoing cancer treatment throughout Scotland. Whilst we are delighted to be able to contribute financially we understand it doesn’t come close to the hard work and sacrifice given by those on the front line for the charities.
