Arbroath FC Chairman Retires

John Christison was the longest serving Chairman in Scottish football and has held the post at Arbroath FC since 1993.

In that time he has seen 16 managers come and go and witnessed the club win their first ever trophy in their 130 year existence.

After overseeing his side win their second ever trophy at the end of Season 2016/17, John has decided the time is right to hand over the reins to Vice-Chairman Mike Caird.

Everyone at MegaTech Projects wishing John the very best in his much deserved retirement and hope he doesn’t get under the feet of wife Marlyn who has no doubt been used to John always being at Gayfield.

To Mike we wish him every success and hope to develop what has been an excellent main sponsorship of the Club under John’s watch.
