MegaTech Awarded Sandwich

MegaTech Projects are delighted to announce we have been awarded the contract to install 2nr Expanded Polystyrene System (EPS) platform extensions at Sandwich Station in Kent. Working for Bam Nuttall and delivering for Southeastern Railway MegaTech are to install the 2nr extensions, totalling over 200 metres, in time for the British Open taking place at Royal St George’s in July 2020.

The 2nr extensions will be purpose built for the open, an access walkway direct to the golf course from the extensions will be constructed and like the extensions will only be usable during the event. Having only been awarded the contract in November 2019 it is testament to the MegaTech system that construction is planned to begin in March 2020 and be completed in time for the 149th Open taking place.
