MPL Showcase New Firewall at Rail Live!

Having attended the previous 2 rail live show’s as visitors in 2021 MPL decided to try our hand as exhibitors. Pitching up on plot G2 with an 8m section of our recently produced show platform, specifically designed and fabricated for such events. MPL certainly didn’t bring the Scottish weather with us as temperatures reached 27 degrees over the 2 days, a well deserved bit of sunshine for all in attendance after what has been a tough 18 months for the rail sector and beyond.

MPL met some new faces as well as some old and were delighted to get the opportunity to show everyone around our platform, running through the efficiencies of our standard detail and installations as well as introducing our newly developed firewall.

The firewall is a variation of our EPS system and can be erected as quickly as a standard fencing panel, much quicker than the standard bricks and mortar platform dividers which are increasingly more common following more stringent fire regs on the UK rail infrastructure. A brick façade may also be pre-applied to tailor the panels to the surroundings making it a suitable fire-break solution in all instances.
