Network Rail Standard Platform Approval

MegaTech Projects, in conjunction with Network Rail, are delighted to confirm that the developed MegaTech modular EPS platform system has been approved by Network Rail as a standard design.

Following the success of the trial site at Sanderstead and the completion of various new full station platforms in the Netherlands the Standard design was approved by Network Rail in late June 2012.

This standard approval allows the MegaTech EPS system to be utilised throughout the mainland UK and MPL are looking forward to rolling out the system and demonstrating the potential savings in time and money highlighted by the ORR's independent report back in May 2008 - as much as 30% compared to traditional platform systems.

MPL acknowledge the determination and input from many of the key individuals within Network Rail which ensured that the approval process was greatly accelerated when compared to the standard times associated with testing, developing and approving other innovative products.
