The misconception that MegaTech Projects Expanded Polystyrene Platform system is at it’s most valuable when there are time restraints or low ground bearing pressure requirements have long been outgrown. The system is a cost, quality and time efficient platform solution in all instances. However, the speed of installation is not to be ignored.

In August 2022, MegaTech Projects installed 2nr 85m long platform extensions at Hertford East station in just 52 hours.

Alongside Keltbray, working to a condensed programme which seen Keltbray complete track renewals, station upgrades, OLE replacements and MPL install another 160 metre long platform extension at Ware station. MPL installed 330 metres of new platform extensions in just 6 days.

MegaTech Projects played our small part in Greater Anglia’s wider £1.4 billion project to introduce new ten car trains on the Hertford East Line and were delighted to do so.
