Carillion awarded the Contract to MegaTech Projects to design and install the platform extension to Platform 1 on the £43M re-development of Peterborough Railway Station for Network Rail.

The design was carried out by Adams Consulting Engineering on behalf of MPL and the approved MegaTech EPS platform was installed and opened over Christmas 2014.

There were the usual railway related issues but with a proactive. positive approach by MPL, Carillion and Network Rail the project was a great success.

As part of Carillion's £43 Million station re-development, MegaTech Projects Ltd were awarded the Contract to extend Platform 1 by 67m in length and 4.70m wide. The works were required in a two week period up to and including Christmas 2013.
