MegaTech Projects first platform installation post Network Rail approval.

The works involved a 67m x 5m platform extension under overheads and had the added difficulties of working under a road bridge and around an existing signal that was later removed.

As a station with Listed Building status MegaTech Projects had to be sympathetic to the historical nature of the works and our standard design was tweaked to incorporate brick tiles which married in with the existing station.

The video footage shows both platforms and tracks moving towards the centre of the 10ft which avoided any works to the listed overhead canopies.

Excellent aerial footage of the platform widening works at Bath Spa during TPoD 3 in April 2017.

The footage shows the restricted access and the ALO working to allow trains to continue to use one platform whilst the other platform was being widening.

Over Christmas Day and boxing Day (December 2018) MegaTech Projects Ltd, in conjunction with James Murphy & Sons removed and replaced a 90m platform.

All achieved in 48 hours and fully operational.
